I don’t get why people are getting so hung up on this. We all know he has met her four times: Asylum of the Daleks, the Christmas special, the prequel when she was a little girl and now again in this series.
I think this was released to throw the scent of who she really is.
But if this is true and he has met her numerous times before…PLEASE DON’T BE RIVER! It worries me that Alex Kingston is in the finale. Because Clara knows The Doctor’s name, and in Silence in the Library, River whispered what we assume is the Doctor’s name in his ear to get him to trust her.
